If the reports are true, Taurus’s mega project ‘Downtown Technopark’ will take off by New Year.<\/p>\n
Taurus Investment Holdings, the investor of Rs.1300 crore project is currently in the process of obtaining environmental clearance and finalizing design specifications. If all goes well, Downtown Technopark will break the ground by December end or January first. Taurus has already completed its procedures with the Technopark authorities such as land lease and marking of the boundary. The lease agreement will be signed by November.<\/p>\n
Once the construction is started, it will be completed within 2 years. The first office of Downtown Technopark will be operational by 2019. The master plan and concept design of the project have been prepared by Mumbai-based RSP Design consultants. Taurus is reportedly is in discussion with tenants which include four Fortune500 companies.<\/p>\n

Downtown Technopark will be developed as a\u00a0 world-class, mixed-use project that features over 1,800,000 Square Feet of world-class, Class A, office space in three towers and a 750,000 Square Feet regional-scale shopping centre with multiple anchor tenants.\u00a0It will also consist of a retail mall, convention facilities, multiples and other utilities. The project also includes two hotels, the first of which will be operated by Hilton.<\/p>\n

On completion, the Downtown project is expected to create additional 20,000 direct employment opportunities within the Park. The project will also contribute to the overall development of the region.<\/p>\n
