After several months of renovation, Kripa theatre at Overbridge will be opened soon with two screens. The Muthoot Pappachan Group owned theatre is in the final stages of renovation.<\/p>\n

The theatre complex will be called MPG Cinemas. One of the screens will be named Shakti, as a tribute to the original name of the theatre and the other will be Kripa. The renovated theatre will have all the usual refinements such as 2K projection and latest sound system with reclining seats.<\/p>\n

Villa Maya will be the hospitality partner of the theatre and will manage the food court in the theatre. The renovated theatre will also have a parking capacity for 60 four-wheelers and 150 two-wheelers. Old Kripa lacked a proper parking lot.\u00a0The renovation at Kripa is done on a budget of Rs.3 crores and the theatre is expected to open this Diwali.<\/p>\n
