In May 2016, Hyperloop One launched a Global Challenge as an open call to individuals, universities, companies and governments to develop comprehensive proposals for using Hyperloop.\u00a0Now they have released the locations of the 35 remaining semi-finalist teams for its Hyperloop One Global Challenge and one of location is Trivandrum.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-27457 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2017\/01\/download.jpg\" width=\"853\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2017\/01\/download.jpg 853w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2017\/01\/download-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 853px) 100vw, 853px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Out of the 35 semi-finalists worldwide, five locations are in India and one of the corridors for Hyperloop in the semi-finalist round is Bangalore-Trivandrum. Other four corridors include &#8211; Chennai-Bangalore, Port connector, Mumbai-Chennai and Mumbai-Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining teams will now be reviewed by Hyperloop One&#8217;s panel of experts in transportation, technology, economics and innovation.\u00a0 The Global Challenge showcase event will be in India on February 28th in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/youtu.be\/fze5spdN3nU<\/p>\n<p>The semi-finalists come from 17 countries, representing every continent except Antarctica. By pumping the air out of the tubes, the train can travel without resistance, allowing high speeds using less energy than a conventional train.
