The underwater wedding is being organised by Bond Safari, a firm that provides diving experience and underwater tourism in Kovalam. Though underwater weddings are not common but this will probably be the first time a wedding is taking place in a rough sea, says Jackson Peter, who is organising the event. Bond Safari has made all arrangement for the wedding. \u00a0According to the company, this is a first of its kind in the country.<\/p>\n
To pull off an underwater wedding, you will need a strong sense of adventure, a tropical location with good visibility something only Kovalam can offer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Unica and Nikhil wanted their wedding to be something unique and out of this world. The couple approached Bond Safari. The couple will have to wear divers suit above wedding dress. The ceremony will take place at a specially designed spot under water which is surrounded by coral reefs and shells.<\/p>\n

Ornamental fishes that can only be seen in Kovalam will witness the wedding ceremony. The couple will also hold a grand wedding party on the shore just after the marriage. Since the couples won\u2019t be able to speak their vows, many prefer waterproof slates on which they can write “I Do”.<\/p>\n
