Kerala’s backwaters are famous and now it has found a place in the National Geographic’s book, ‘The World’s Most Romantic Destinations’. Kerala got into the list by beating many of the world’s famous destinations including Rio De Janeiro in Brazil and Hamilton Island in Australia.<\/p>\n
According to Nat Geo, Kerala’s backwater tourism is placed 10th<\/strong> among the ‘17 of the World’s Most Romantic Destinations<\/strong>‘. Nat Geo described it as a destination for ‘couples wanting to indulge in a dream getaway’.<\/p>\n The Book also says houseboats along the Kerala backwaters ‘are the height of comfortable cruising’.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n “Kerala was featured in the millennium edition of the National Geographic Traveller as one of the 50 <\/em>must see destinations.
