AECOM Consortium (Aecom India Pvt Ltd, Urban Mass Transit Company Ltd and Zebec Marine Consultants Service Pvt Ltd) was adjudged as the successful bidder for the project. The work will be awarded to the company after getting necessary clearance from KfW, the German bank, which is funding the project.<\/p>\n
The Water Metro will connect 10 panchayats. They have identified 16 routes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kochi water metro project is envisaged as a feeder service to the Kochi Metro rail project. Water metro along with feeder buses and Kochi metro rail will form an integrated mobility project.<\/p>\n
