A brand-new patient-friendly OP facility will function at the SAT Hospital in Trivandrum. The new facility will be inaugurated by Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.<\/p>\n
It will also mark the launch of Ardram Mission and the government has decided to set up patient-friendly OP wings in all the government hospitals across the state as part of the mission of which the first one will be launched at SAT Hospital here.<\/p>\n
With this new Op facility, people can take the token for registration and a patient coordinator will assists the patients. There will also be a hassle-free queue management system, waiting area for the bystanders, coffee centre and toilet facilities have been set up as part of patient-friendly measures at the OP.<\/p>\n

The 66,000 Sqfeet new block at SAT has been constructed at a cost of Rs27crore.\u00a0 The six-storey building will have gynaecology OP on the ground floor. It will also have an emergency wing, laboratory and a scanning centre. Apart from these a labour room and waiting area have been set up on the first floor of this new building. Two operation theatres, ICU complex, post-delivery area and waiting area for bystanders have also been set up. The works for the two floors have been completed and the remaining works will be finished in six months.<\/p>\n
A new inborn and outborn nursery, a paediatric wing, children’s and women’s ward will also come up on the block. There will also be an operation theatre for children in the near future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s not all, a high-risk pregnancy unit will also come up here. The government has already sanctioned Rs 5 crore through the budget for the development of the SAT Hospital.<\/p>\n
