For those who interested in artificial intelligence and bio-systems, a one-day exploratory seminar on Intelligent Computing in Bio-system will be conducted in Trivandrum on June 30.<\/p>\n
The seminar is organized by Accubits Technologies-Trivandrum, UST Global-Trivandrum and Department of Computational Biology & Bioinformatics – University of Kerala.<\/p>\n
The seminar aims to give insight on intelligent computing tools and the main main focal themes are Blockchain concepts and its applications, Soft Computing in Biosystems, Artificial Intelligence etc.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The seminar aims to give insight on intelligent computing tools and the main main focal themes are Blockchain concepts and its applications, Soft Computing in Biosystems, Artificial Intelligence in Genetics, Challenges in applying AI in Genetics – Hands on session for Deep Learning with microarray dataset for predicting cancer using gene information.<\/p>\n
Topics Covered<\/h2>\n
Soft Computing in Bioinformatics which will be led by Manuyash Chaudhari (Head of Artificial Intelligence Research, Accubits Technologies ) will discuss different soft computing algorithms like Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, Evolution algorithms and its implementation in Genetics. The session will also demo the application of Machine Learning to detect cancer from open source microarray data.<\/p>\n
Next topic is about Blockchain in Bioinformatics. The session led by Mr. Rahul A.R\u00a0(Head of Blockchain and Research, Accubits Technologies )\u00a0will discuss from a basic introduction of Blockchain technology, how it works and to its Implementation in genomic data. The session will also go through the challenges of blockchain in bioinformatics and why it is essential for leveraging Bioinformatics with application of Blockchain<\/p>\n
And finally HPC in cloud computing which will be led by Charush S Nair\u00a0(Head of Cloud Computing, Accubits Technologies) will discuss High-performance Computing in the Cloud, The relevance of HPC and why it is important in Bio-informatics. The session will also go through various tools like Amazon Elastic Map Reducer and Amazon Redshift used in HPC.<\/p>\n
The seminar is free for all and will start from 9:30am to 4:30pm on Darwin Babbage Seminar Hall<\/p>\n
