BCCI has announced that Greenfield Stadium at Karyavattom will be the venue for the India-Sri Lanka Twenty-20 Match which will be held on December 20. This will be the first ever T20 contest in the state\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

”The T20 game against Lanka will be a success. The stadium boasts <\/em>of a seating capacity of 54,000 and offers a better view for spectators than the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi. Also, it’s Kerala’s first-ever international T20 fixture,<\/em>”\u00a0BCCI\u00a0vice-president and former Kerala Cricket Association President T C Mathew said.<\/p>\n
BCCI has fixed three Test matches of the November-December home series against Sri Lanka to Kolkata, Nagpur and Delhi while the newly-constructed stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati, was awarded a marquee Twenty20 International against Australia in October.<\/p>\n
