Olds Cool Bistro which started three months ago is the place you have to go if you fancy nice good steaks and sandwiches.\u00a0 Although its new to most people, Olds Cool Bistro is no stranger to hard-core foodies. Because back in 2015, Olds Cool was actually named Truffle House. Truffle House was started by a group of young foodies with an aim to bring western and continental delicacies to Trivandrum. Later the owners decide to expand their restaurant and changed its name to Olds Cool. The ambience at Olds cool is chilled out with nice lighting and there was open top seating area as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Olds Cool has been getting rave reviews on Social media thanks to its fusion of continental style dishes with local Kerala dishes. The restaurant serves Italian dishes such as pasta and Lasagne but it’s not the authentic version but a combination of Italian and Kerala flavours with more spices which appeals to local delicacy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Olds Cool is also famous for its Steak.<\/strong> One can consider Olds Cool as the steakhouse of the Capital. Restaurant owners say steaks are the most sought-after dish there. They have different varieties of steak with chicken and beef. Another unique dish at Olds Cool is the baked dish. It is similar to Lasagne and is considered as a cheese overload with either chicken, prawns, or tuna. A speciality of Olds Cool is that all the sauces they use are produced in-house. They seldom source their sauces and ingredients from outside.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently the restaurant started a pastry section and soon they will also open a full-fledged bakery. The owners also say they plan to open a takeaway outlet at By-pass Road exclusively for Sandwiches and burgers.<\/span><\/p>\n
