Prefabricated steel Girders have been sought from Hyderabad by NHAI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">With this prefabricated technology, NHAI aims to complete the works within a month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">As part of the plan, a 3-laneRailway Overbridge is being constructed parallel to the existing two-lane ROB. It has purchased steel girders for the works considering durability.\u00a0Since prefab steel girders do not need curing time compared to concrete, the work can be completed in a much faster way.\u00a0If any change is required in future, the dismantling of steel girders is convenient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The construction of Chackai overbridge is being carried out by taking enough precautions not to disrupt the rail traffic under the ROB. The substructure is almost complete. The delay in construction of the approach ramp to the airport at Chackai continues to be a major hurdle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The cost has also become a hurdle.
