If you are new to Ice Cream Rolls, it’s an originally a Thai frozen dessert<\/strong>, commonly available as street food. Unlike most ice creams made in electronic machines, rolled ice cream, which is also known as stir-fried ice cream, is made by hands on a cold steel surface. \u00a0The increasing popularity has led to ice cream rolls being introduced in India and thanks to Neeravi, we Trivandrumites can also enjoy Ice Cream Rolls.<\/p>\n

At Neeravi, different varieties of rolled and stoned ice creams are made in front of you by mixing real fruit flavours, raisins, nuts and other toppings of your choice.\u00a0 The rolls are made by pouring a base of sweet milk on an extremely cold (-22 degree Celsius) steel surface. To this liquid base, different toppings are added, for which metal spatulas are used to chop them into the base and scrape it around to create air.<\/p>\n

Once the base is frozen solid, it is spread thinly and scraped at an angle to create the perfect rolls of ice cream. The four-five rolls made out of the base are then placed carefully in a cup and topped with a variety of toppings like whipped cream, chocolate chips,\u00a0chocolate sauce\u00a0and\u00a0fruits, among others.<\/p>\n

The process of mixing and rolling different flavours of ice creams and toppings right in front of you adds to the thrill of the experience. Plus, it will take away the boredom of waiting for the dish.<\/p>\n
