Silence is golden, but when it became our Prime Minister’s synonym, silence was a word we Indians detested. Nearing decade long ruling Mr. Manmohan Singh has rarely uttered words. Robotic move, a stiff to-and-fro movement of his waving hands, insensitive expressions-as a whole with ten years, we were margined as just an existing nation in the map. And then the people started reacting, criticising,’silent mode’ PM, a puppet in the hands of Congress President who take moves only on her command.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister got itched by the people’s reaction and now from ‘silent mode’ he switched to ‘talking mode’. He is uttering\u00a0 golden words now-a-days which can be put as universal quotes. Some of his golden statements are:<\/p>\n

‘Money does not grow on trees’<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

-Meaningful and thought provoking for the common Indian who is in a heart-breaking situation due to rise in LPG and diesel prices<\/strong>. Mr. Manmohan Singh explained that the price wouldnot hurt the poor directly, since LPG ‘wasn’t meant to be the poor man’s fuel’. Unable to show my feelings towards this statement…I just want to say…’Incredible India!’ no ‘Incredible Manmohan!’<\/p>\n

He again went on<\/p>\n

‘Use firewood instead of gas’<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

if there is no wood for fire ‘plant trees and cut them’<\/em><\/strong>…. visionary statement, isn’t it! Mr. Prime Minister you remind me of Queen Marie Antoinette of France<\/strong>, upon being alerted that the people were suffering due to widespread famine, she responded “Let them eat cake”.<\/em> The phrase as historians say is commonly misattributed to the Queen but it can be dedicated to our Prime Minister for his callous remarks.<\/p>\n

We now request our Prime Minister to stop talking<\/strong>, if ever he opens his mouth his words kill the people. So dear Mr. Singh switch off the ‘talking mode’ and come back to ‘silent mode’.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
