In 2009, Maruti Suzuki launched Ritz in India. Now the company has unveiled the refreshed model of Ritz which is priced at Rs 5.31lac<\/strong> onwards. The new model of Ritz Diesel<\/strong> comes with 52 exciting changes including a new front design, new audio system with USB, multi-information display on instrument panel and new dual tone interiors. The car has a fuel economy ranging from 21.1 kmpl to 23.2 kmpl which is a 10% improvement from the previous version. And this is also the first time Maruti introduced a new ZDi Variant at Rs 6.23Lac along with high end features such as Dual Front Air bags, Steering Audio controls and Alloy wheels.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Exterior<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The design and styling of the new Ritz Diesel<\/strong> is unique and it doesn\u2019t resemble to any other car. The bonnet of the Ritz is shorter than that of Swift but it gives the car a prominent V-Shape. The exterior changes includes a smiling grille including an air dam, stylish headlamps, an integrated rear spoiler and a strong bumper which goes all way to the rear. The high end model of Ritz has a body colored door handles and an outside mirrors.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Interior<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The car feels “premium” inside and the interiors are very dynamic. Ritz has a dual tone interior which gives a grey effect and the new bright colored seats reduces the dull effect. It also has silver finishing on the inside door handles. High quality fabrics are used inside the car. The rear seating promises an improved lumbar support. The high end model of New Ritz Diesel<\/span> comes with an Integrated Audio system in the centre console. The audio console includes a Radio, CD player and a USB port which allows you to play music directly from your portable devices. The Audio control buttons are integrated on to the steering wheel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Engine and Performance<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The car is powered using a 1248cc DDiS engine with a high fuel efficiency of 23.2 kmpl. The engine also has a torque of 190Nm@ 2000rpm and an unmatched power of 75ps@4000rpm.It also has a 5-step multi-injection technology to ensure a smooth and effortless drive. The car can achieve a speed of 0-100 kmph in n nearly 15-16 seconds and you can cross 150Kmph in no time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Braking and Safety features<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The New Maruti Ritz Diesel<\/em> is equipped with disk-brakes in front and drum brakes at the back. It also has state of the art ABS and EBD (brake assist) to make sure the braking is more accurate.
