Kamasutra is going to hit the screen again and this time on 3D. Actress Sherlyn Chopra<\/strong> -the first Indian girl to pose nude for the international magazine ‘Playboy’ will star in ‘Kamasutra 3D<\/strong>‘. The film will be directed by Rupesh Paul, who is a Malayalee.<\/p>\n

“I am glad to have Sherlyn on board. She has the earthiness and sensuality that her character requires. This will be a redefining film of her career”, Rupesh Paul said in a statement. He also said that plot of the film is entirely different and it has no relations with the Mira Nair’s “Kamasutra: A Tale Of Love”, released in 1996.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Sherlyn tweeted \u201cExcellence is the best deterrent to sexism. Playboy cover was my 1st step toward it and Kamasutra 3D will take me a 100 steps ahead. You are asking me to share the initial trailers of Kamasutra 3D<\/strong>. They shall be shared after they are exhibited at the American Film Market in Nov 2012.”<\/p>\n

The project was announced at the Cannes Film Festival this year but Sherlyn has been casted for a key role only recently. Besides Sherlyn, two more important characters in the film will be played by known Bollywood actors. The director however didn\u2019t give out more details. “The casting is on and all I can say now is that it is going to be the surprise package of the film” he said.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
