What ‘Jadoo’ (magic) is happening when it comes to Malayalam movies?! The Torrent of Mohanlal starrer Ranjith’s ‘Spirit<\/a>‘ is now in internet. The hullabaloo Jadoo Tech made while taking the protection of movies were washed out soon after its DVD release.<\/p>\n

‘Spirit’ is the fourth movie that is releasing in torrent even after it had the Jadoo Tech protection. The other movies came out in BitTorrent soon after the DVD release was ‘Bachelor Party<\/a>‘, ‘Diamond Necklace’ and ‘Usthad Hotel<\/a>‘ even though they had Jadoo protection.<\/p>\n

Earlier, case was taken against thousands of people who saw ‘Bachelor Party’ by downloading it through Torrent<\/a> and the follow up of the case is still in obscurity. According to Indian Copyright Act it is permissible to take copy and watch the movie. The case can be taken only against the person who made the digital copy of the movie first and made it available through internet. Apart from that as the file is shared through Torrent no one will share it fully so during the trial the case become more complicated. The cinema industry should know that Torrent is the growth of technology. So the technology of releasing machines should be changed in order to counter the Torrent attack or else at this point fake groups like Agent Jadoo<\/strong><\/em> will drain money from producers pocket.<\/p>\n

Apart from Torrent, the youtube<\/a> has three copies\u00a0 of the film ‘Spirit’. From this we can understand that the Agent Jadoo<\/strong> doesn’t know blocking copyrighted contents in youtube with its Content ID<\/em> System.<\/p>\n
