{"id":4254,"date":"2012-11-08T18:05:50","date_gmt":"2012-11-08T12:35:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/?p=4254"},"modified":"2012-11-09T14:24:37","modified_gmt":"2012-11-09T08:54:37","slug":"anerts-scheme-to-hold-power-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/anerts-scheme-to-hold-power-crisis\/","title":{"rendered":"ANERT&#8217;s scheme to hold Power Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In association with the Agency for Non-conventional Energy and Rural Technology(ANERT), the Kerala government has a scheme to provide <strong>10,000 roof top <a title=\"\u2018Ente City\u2019 soon to be Solar City\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/entecity-soon-to-be-solar-city\/\" target=\"_blank\">Solar PV Power plants<\/a><\/strong>. One such system with financial aid from the State and Central government is permitted for an individual beneficiary.<\/p>\n<p>One plant costs about Rs 2.5 lakhs. In this the State government will provide a subsidy of Rs 39,000 while the Centre is expected to give Rs 81,ooo or 30% of the cost. Excluding the subsidies, an overall amount of about Rs 1,20,000 is to be funded by the individual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-4264\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2012\/11\/anert-solar-scheme-power-crisis.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"523\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2012\/11\/anert-solar-scheme-power-crisis.png 792w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2012\/11\/anert-solar-scheme-power-crisis-518x466.png 518w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 523px) 100vw, 523px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/entecity.com\" target=\"_blank\">Kerala<\/a>, currently doused in severe electricity crisis \u00a0can surely take heart from the project. By this scheme, households, offices and other such set ups can be self reliant. They can produce electricity in their own land and \u00a0use it for their needs.<\/p>\n<p>Under this scheme, solar power plants of 1 Kilo Watt is allowed. Four units of electricity can be produced in a day. For installation of this project, at least 15 square metres of \u00a0shade free area is \u00a0essential.<\/p>\n<p>The plant is expected to have a life span of 20-25 years (except battery).\u00a0This is the first such massive programme in Kerala.
