Southern siren Asin gets a new avatar in her upcoming movie ‘Khiladi 786<\/strong><\/em>‘. In the film the actor plays the character of a Marathi girl ‘Kajal Tendulkar’. Asin gets the look of a Marathi mulgi for a dance sequence. The actor will play opposite Akshay Kumar in Khiladi 786.<\/p>\n

Asin was so excited to be playing Marathi mulgi , that she even decided to personally select few sarees for the role. The actor said “Navvari saris are so beautiful and I had a great time selecting the prettiest ones. I also wanted to meet the sellers to pick up the finer nuances of the language and the traditional way of draping the navvari. I loved the entire experience”.<\/p>\n

She even interacts with Marathi-speaking crew on the sets quite often. Reports from the set says “When Asin arrived on the sets wearing a navvari for a sequence, all of us were awestruck. She looked beautiful and elegant. Her new look will be a total treat for her fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other stars of Khiladi 786<\/strong> include Paresh Rawal, Mithun Chakraborty, Raj Babbar, Himesh Reshammiya . For Asin this is her second movie with Akshay Kumar as they were paired before in Sajid Khan\u2019s Housefull 2.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
