A meeting will be\u00a0convened\u00a0by the Transport Minister next week to decide about the hike in tariff. The demand of autorikshaw drivers is to increase the minimum charge to Rs 15.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday night, the government had increased the rates but the autorikshaw drivers are not satisfied with the increment. The minimum rate of autos has now been changed from Rs 12 to Rs 14 while that for taxis has been hiked from\u00a0Rs 60 for three kilometres to\u00a0Rs.\u00a0100 per 5 kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous commuters were affected by the strike which hit the State yesterday. People from all sectors were left stranded at different parts of the State.
