The Pakistan terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Kasab who waged war against the nation in 2008 along with nine others was hanged to death today morning at 7.30 in Yerwada jail in Pune. Kasab was taken from Arthur Road jail to Yerwada jail two days back soon after President Pranab Mukherjee rejected Kasab’s mercy plea on November 8. Waging war against the nation, conspiracy, murder were among the 86 accusations against Kasab.<\/p>\n
Kasab and nine Leshkar-e-Toiba terrorists carried out attack at a string of places in Mumbai that killed 166 people including foreigners and injured 304 people. In this attack India lost her top brass security officials – Hemant Karkare (ATS Head), Inspector Vijay Salaskar (fight expert) and\u00a0 Tukaram Omble (Police Constable).<\/p>\n
Kasab was the lone surviving terrorist in the Mumbai attack of November 26, 2008.
