It will be for the first time an event of few martial arts coming together in the state capital.<\/p>\n<p>The four-day festival will have more than 300 martial artists from 16 countries featuring different martial art forms. Our local Kalaripayattu will rub shoulders with Karate, Kungfu, Aikido and Taekwondo.<\/p>\n<p>The event is organised by the International Karate Organisation (IKO) state chapter and NRI Welfare Association. The event was announced in a press conference by the IKO Director and Chief coordinator Mohammed Nizam, a third dan black belt in the <strong>Kyokushin style of Karate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During this four-day event the 13th Asian Karate Tournament, the national-level Karate tournament and the international women&#8217;s karate tournament will be held.
