Actress Meghna Raj is quite busy in Malayalam film with many projects lined up for release. She made her presence felt with the film ‘Beautiful’ directed by V.K. Prakash. Talking about her films in Malayalam Meghna Raj says, \u201cI am now comfortable working in Malayalam films. I am happy that my characters are appreciated by the audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 22 year old actress made her debut in Malayalam with Vinayan’s \u2018Yakshiyum Njaanum\u2019 is now working in many projects including Maad Dad, Madirashi, Up and Down & Poppins.<\/p>\n

In the film ‘Poppins’<\/em><\/strong> directed by V.K Prakash Meghna is pairing up with Jayasurya again. Poppins is the film adaptation of the Sahitya Akademi award-winning play ‘8 Natakangal’ written by Jayaprakash Kuloor. Meghna and Jayasurya will play a Tamil couple in the film. Other leading actors in the film include, Indrajith, Padmapriya, Kunchacko Boban, Nithya Menen, Anoop Menon and Ann Augustine.<\/p>\n

Meghana Raj was born in Bangalore and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Christ University, Bangalore. She was selected as the \u2018Promising Newcomer’ for the film Beautiful by the Kochi Times Film Awards 2011.<\/p>\n
