The anti-piracy cell in discussion with the producers and theater digital companies has decided that mobile detectors will be installed in all theaters to curb the film\u00a0recording through camera and mobile phones.<\/p>\n
After a span of eight months, camera prints of newly released Malayalam movies are now in market. The anti-piracy cell found the latest Malayalam movies like ‘Run Baby Run<\/a>‘, ‘Husbands in Goa<\/a>‘, ‘Puthiya Theerangal’, ‘Molly Aunty Rocks’, ‘Friday<\/a>‘, ‘Trivandrum Lodge<\/a>‘ and ‘Banking Hours’ were being sold in Bangalore footpaths. A discussion with the representatives of the film producers and film theater digital companies like Cube, UFO and Prasad were initiated to find from where CDs were bought and from which theater the films were being copied.<\/p>\n The anti-piracy cell in last March found a big racket working in the making of fake\/illegal prints of the movies in Bangalore. The cell found the racket when they went after the investigation of the fake print of Malayalam movie ‘Swapnasanchari’ and thirteen were arrested. After that no theater prints were on sale in the market, but now the cell has found new piracy lobbies running in different areas.<\/p>\n The cell has approached various digital companies to get the relevant details of the fake CDs. According to the anti-piracy cell thorough detection of the CDs in Mumbai and Chennai labs could detect from where the films were recorded.
