The Indians included are Deepa Mehta, Sumitra Bhave and Ajita Suchitra Veera.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Perkins, whose \u2018<em><strong>One Night the Moon<\/strong><\/em>\u2019 is set to blaze the screens at <a title=\"IFFK 2012: Focus section on Australian Aboriginals\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/iffk-2012-focus-section-on-australian-aboriginals\/\" target=\"_blank\">IFFK<\/a>, is a famous Australian film maker. Teen girls and their life in Australia is the focus of all her works.Six awards decorate her career. \u2018One Night\u00a0 the Moon\u2019 is the true story of a young girl who went missing in the Australian outback in 1932.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the screening of 7 movies\u00a0 which shows her acting prowess, Brazilian actress Helena Ignez, also has her directorial ventures \u00a0\u2018Cancoes de Baal\u2019 and \u2018Light in Darkness\u2019 enrolled in the IFFK.<\/p>\n<p>One of the ten directors of the most acclaimed \u00a0\u201818 Days\u2019, Mariam Abou Ouf studied direction from London. She is the daughter of famous Egyptian Actor Ezzat Abou Ouf.\u00a0Her short film \u2018Tahrir 2\/2\u2019 is part of \u201818 Days\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The trilogy \u00a0\u2018Fire\u2019 (1996), \u2018Earth\u2019 (1998) and \u2018Water\u2019 (2005)\u00a0 brought \u00a0the Indo-Canadian, Deepa Mehta, into the limelight. Her latest film \u2018Midnight\u2019s Children\u2019, based on Salman Rushdie\u2019s book, is premiering in India in the festival.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00a0Indian Cinema Now category will feature \u2018Samhita\u2019 co-directed\u00a0 by Sumithra Bhave.<\/p>\n<p>Ajita Suchitra Veera\u2019s latest film \u2018<strong>The Ballad of Rustom<\/strong>\u2019 will be screened under the head Top Angel Indian Cinema.
