Offering a nice visual treat to the audience, the inauguration of the renovated Kairali – Sree theatre complex will take place on December 6 by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.<\/p>\n

As part of the renovation, the balcony of Kairali theatre<\/a> will form another theatre called Nila and would come up as a multiplex with three theatres altogether. The inauguration of Kalabhavan will be on December 5.<\/p>\n

The theatres are upgraded to multiplex standards and the audience will experience world class quality in every sense and .All the theatres will be equipped with state of the art sound and picture technologies including the \u2018Cube projectors\u2019. Also the Dolby 2K system will create a huge impact on the audience.<\/p>\n

The government granted Rs.4.5 crore for renovation and the work started few months back. Kalabhavan will get 60-inch-wide seats, costing Rs.7,000 per seat. Kairali, the largest among the three theatres, will have 442 seats. Sree will have fewer than 300 seats, and the new theatre Nila will have approximately 200 seats.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
