About 300 tonnes of cargos are piled up in the cargo complex without shifting to the respective addressees. In the piled up cargoes there are tonnes of goods including food which were send by the immigrants before the onset of Christmas season.<\/p>\n<p>The immigrants complaint that as there is no proper channel to shift the cargoes on time, the goods are piled up and the changing weather is ruining them. Earlier, the cargo movement stopped and the problem was solved by the customs authorities by distributing them after months delay.<\/p>\n<p>The customs do stringent scrutiny over the overseas goods that are coming through cargoes and stamp tax and are send to respective places. Due to this custom, the agencies as well as the immigrants began to send their goods through courier services. Then the customs authorities put an order saying that the goods that are send through courier should not weigh more than seventy kilos.<\/p>\n<p>Due to this rule, cargoes go through strict examination and very few are send out after that. The customs authorities give the reason that as the cargoes are send through illegal means, they are stringent in\u00a0 inspecting goods.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that the hard earned money of the expatriates are given no consideration and their goods are piled up without any protection in the cargo complex. The authorities should be more considerate and humane in their dealings and attitude and should understand that these are goods that are either for the immigrant himself or for his relatives for the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>The authorities claim that most of the goods are coming through illegal means&#8230; keeping that in mind this is a request to them to give away the goods that are coming through proper channel to the addressee. Understand, our expatriates are the major income carries to our small strip of land.
