This is the first time ever a student-incubated company in the state is going for IPO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are vying to become the first IT Company to get listed on the SME exchange of the National Stock Exchange,\u201d said Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Vijayakumar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobme.in\/\" target=\"_blank\">MobME Wireless<\/a> was started six years ago by a bunch of youngsters. And the company chose the magical timeline of 12-12-12 to announce its plans to go for IPO at a function at College of Engineering, Trivandrum, where it all started.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur journey started from here when we signed the documents to set up our technology company from our college, the College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET). It was from here that we moved to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technoparktbi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Technopark TBI<\/a>. By scripting the campus-to-IPO success story in the country, MobME will possibly the only IT Company from Kerala planning to go public after the IT industry began here with the start of the Technopark in Trivandrum in the early 90s.\u201d Sanjay Vijayakumar added.<\/p>\n<p>Initially MobME wireless was started under the name Torque and it has the unique distinction of being the first student incubated company at Technopark-TBI Trivandrum. The core members of the company consist of 8 alumni from CET and 7 from SCT. MobME focuses on Value Added Services for Mobile Phone users and Carrier Grade Solutions for Network Operators.
