The inaugural opening was held today. The restaurant is located at <strong>Keston Road, Kowdiar<\/strong> adjacent StylePlus. The day one itself witnessed a sizeable crowd showing how popular Subway is, among Trivandrumites. The franchise is operated by Food Factory which is the one and only franchisee of Subway in Kerala. Food Factory is subsidiary of the well known <strong>Venpakal group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Subway specializes in low fat healthy food and they claim to offer up to <strong>97% fat free food<\/strong>. Unlike other fast food chains which concentrate on non-veg items only, Subway is different in that they give vegetarians and non-vegetarians equal consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Subway has its presence all over India with 303 outlets. In Kerala, they now have 3 outlets- Two in Trivandrum and one Cochin. The first outlet is already operating at Technopark, Trivandrum.
