According to the recent survey conducted by a travel planning website HolidayIQ, people selected Kerala as the second most popular place in India after Puri.<\/p>\n<h3>Also Read:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/kerala-the-most-searched-tourist-spot-in-google\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kerala ranks first in Google India search trends<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Kerala is followed by Goa, Ooty, Tarkarli, Mahabaleswar, Andaman and Nicobar and Coorg.<\/p>\n<p>The survey of 10 million people found that Kerala is the top destination for single travellers. The survey also shows that, Kerala has the highest diversity of travellers and people from over 1,300 different cities visit Kerala.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe HolidayIQ Winter Intelligence Report is an analysis of Indian travellers planning their holiday in the winter season of 2012. The data collated is from onsite actions done by around 10 million travellers over the last four months,\u201d said Hari Nair, the chief executive officer of HolidayIQ.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, also says that <strong>Kovalam in Trivandrum is the second most visited place by children<\/strong> this winter. Bandipur National Park comes first and Rajasthan, Ratnagiri and Murud too are popular. People from Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Delhi were more adventurous.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s surprising about the survey results is that, Kerala may attract tourists from all over the world except for Keraliites.
