Recently Google Developer Group started a chapter for Trivandrum called the &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/groups\/chapter\/110441223852820157926\/\" target=\"_blank\">Google Developer Group (GDG) Thiruvananthapuram<\/a>&#8216; for the app developers based out of Trivandrum to use, learn, share and contribute to various Google products and platforms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to invite you to our first event, Hello World. It would be a great opportunity for you to meet with likeminded professionals. Come spend the day with us talking about various Google products and how they can help us.\u201d Said the organizers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Google Developer Groups<\/a> (GDGs) are for developers who are interested in Google&#8217;s developer technology; everything from the Android to product APIs like YouTube API and Google Calendar API. The GDG has over 341 chapters spread over 96 countries. The group already conducted more than 1100 events in the past 6 months.<\/p>\n<p>GDG will conduct regular meet-ups and seminars to discuss and share innovative ideas. The group will handle various topics such as developer tools, Android, Chrome, Google Apps APIs, GData APIs and App Engine. The main objective of the group is to encourage development and promoting <a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/tag\/google\/\" target=\"_blank\">Google<\/a> products or platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Google Developer Group meeting will be<strong> free and open to the public<\/strong>.
