Latest External hard drive is equipped with USB 3.0 interface so that you can transfer your files between your computers at very fast rate. If you don\u2019t need large capacity and has only files that occupy less space then Pen drives are the best option. Capacity of pen drive ranges from 1 GB to 32gb. These are small handy and can be put in your pocket. Pendrives costs less than a portable hard drive. Seagate, Western Digital, Transcend etc are the popular external hard drives available today in the market.<\/p>\n<h3>Remote Backup<\/h3>\n<p>This method helps you to backup your data online and transfer it to a remote computer of your choice. It is easily accessible and you don\u2019t need to carry your External hard drive and quit worrying about theft and damage. However, in case your laptop or USB drive is lost or stolen, you may not be able to access your data. There is also a risk of hacking your password storage software. <strong>KeepassX<\/strong>\u00a0(Download <a title=\"Download KeepassX\" href=\"http:\/\/www.keepassx.org\/downloads\" target=\"_blank\">KeepassX<\/a>)and Password Safe (Download <a title=\"Download Password Safe\" href=\"http:\/\/passwordsafe.sourceforge.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Password Safe<\/a>) are freeware that offer this service.<\/p>\n<h3>Access from Internet cafes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>You might need to access internet from an internet cafe or your hotel, if you are not travelling with your laptop. Hackers have plenty of tricks up their sleeves to steal your password and data.<\/li>\n<li>If you are not sure about the security of the computer you are accessing, then do not access website with your sensitive information.<\/li>\n<li>Always make sure you logout by clicking the sign out button.
