Recently Kerala State Film Development Corporation<\/a> (KSFDC) had gone in for a complete revamp of its theatres in the city much to the delight of the moviegoers. KSFDC also introduced online ticket booking facility for as part of the upgradation.<\/p>\n

Apparently things are not easy. If you think you can book the movie you wish to watch that easily you are in for a not so pleasant surprise. Because you will get booked to watch an entirely different movie, that too which has been left the theatres long back.<\/p>\n

According to them, ‘Cinema Company’ is the movie playing there right now and you can even book tickets for the movie!<\/p><\/div>\n

Choose your seats! Not kidding, you can actually book ticket for ‘Cinema Company’<\/p><\/div>\n

KSFDC claims to have provided online booking facility for “Vishwaroopam<\/a><\/strong>“. But if you tried to book for the same, the only film available is “Cinema Company<\/strong>” which left theatres months back.<\/p>\n

According to the site, whatever be the movie running currently in the complex, you can only book for Cinema Company. And what makes the whole exercise ridiculous is that you get booking for the date 1st August 2012 (1\/08\/2012).<\/p>\n

Obviously KSFDC has not taken care to update its site www.chithranjali.in<\/a>\u00a0with latest movies<\/a>. Moreover, the site also displays some forthcoming movies which have actually left theatres long ago. And some of them have also been telecasted in TV channels also.<\/p>\n

If KSFDC is so indifferent in this mater, they can very well shut down the site and spare all of us needless trouble or they can put a message saying online booking facility is not available.<\/p>\n

Compared to other online booking sites, KSFDC site is not at all user friendly and is also cluttered with advertisements. Hope they will take notice of these problems and take the right measures to remedy the problems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
