Yamaha Ray<\/strong>, Yamaha’s first scooter for India targeting females aged between 16-24 is getting ready to launch. The booking of Yamaha ray has already started and you can book online<\/a> also. Online Booking will charge you Rs. 5000\/- only.<\/p>\n

Yamaha<\/a> introduced ray at the 2012 Auto Expo, which held at New Delhi. But the Japanese company did not revealed much detail about it that time. First it was guessed that Ray will be a 125cc scooter designed for both men and women but later proved it was a wrong guess.<\/p>\n

Why choose Yamaha ray?<\/h2>\n

Yamaha Ray<\/span> is powered with a 113cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled SOHC engine. It will produce around 8BHP peak power at 8000 RPM and 8.62Nm of peak torque at 7000 RPM. The scooter weighs around 105 Kilograms. Ray is exclusively designed for females under 24 years and is sporty and stylish too. Ray is expected to arrive in vivid colors like striking purple, blue and brown.<\/p>\n

Yamaha ray comes with telescopic suspension, Stylish headlamps and with a Large underseat storage space. It also features a twin pod digital speedo cluster. Yamaha claims that it will get a mileage of 45kmpl.<\/p>\n

To make Yamaha<\/a>‘s first scooter launch showier, they have made the Bollywood beauty Deepika padukone as its brand ambassador.<\/p>\n

Yamaha Ray will surely bring a tight competition to the scooter market of India, especially to Honda Activa, Suzuki Access, Hero Maestro and Mahindra’s Duro. Yamaha<\/a> will produce Ray at its Surajpur,UP facility.<\/p>\n
