KRFB will take the issue to state government and will ask for compensation from DYFI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7760 aligncenter\" title=\"DYFI-graffiti trivandrum\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2013\/02\/DYFI-graffiti-trivandrum.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"286\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, TRDCL will wait for 10 days to see whether the traffic will erase the paint from the road.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If not, we will have to erase it manually and this is estimated to cost Rs 1 crore. Restoring the road markings, including the zebra crossings alone, will cost Rs 5.5 lakh. And it has to be done. There\u2019s no way out,\u2019\u2019 said TRDCL project director Anil Kumar Pandala The company will submit the report today<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are awaiting the TRDCL report. We will then write to the government, the District Collector, the police and the DYFI. The DYFI will have to bear the costs,\u2019\u2019 said KRFB chief operating officer Harikesh P C.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is a growing trend among various social and political organizations of using road graffiti. In fact, we noticed this across Kerala during our youth march from Kasargod. However, if there has been any inconvenience to traffic in Trivandrum, we consider it extremely unfortunate. It will be intimated to our lower factions&#8221; said M Swaraj, State President, DYFI while replying to Indian Express<\/p>\n<p>The 2 Kilometer road from Palayam to Pazhavangadi Junction was covered with DYFI graffiti announcing Monday\u2019s Youth March. Road markings including zebra crossings were covered with graffiti. According to TRDCL, manually erasing the road will also create problems as it will lead to uneven wearing of the road surface.
