It came onto force on February 1,&#8221; TRAI Chairman Rahul Khullar.<\/p>\n<p>People who have been using any VAS services beyond 24 hours can also use this number for<strong> deactivating the VAS services<\/strong>. The mobile operator will have to deactivate the services within 4 hours of getting the complaint. However, in such cases the subscriber is not eligible to claim the refund.<\/p>\n<p>On July 4, 2011 TRAI directed all mobile operators to &#8220;take consent of subscribers before activating any VAS and deactivate it without charging for it if no consent is received from them&#8221;.
