Theatres <a href=\"http:\/\/movies.entecity.com\/theatre\/kripa\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kripa<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/movies.entecity.com\/theatre\/dhanya\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dhanya<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/movies.entecity.com\/theatre\/remya\/\" target=\"_blank\">Remya<\/a> are all set for a major facelift.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/movies.entecity.com\/theatre\/sree-padmanabha\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sree Padmanabha theatre<\/a> was the first theatre that underwent a makeover and government owned <strong>theatres Kalabhavan and <a href=\"http:\/\/movies.entecity.com\/theatre\/kairali\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kairali<\/a>-Sree-Nila complex<\/strong> set a whole new standard for the theaters by offering multiplex-like comforts and facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kripa is planning a duplex theatre<\/strong> by converting the current theatre into two new theaters. Total number of seats will be reduced. The seats are imported and each one will cost Rs 1,500. The centralized A\/C system will be replaced by split A\/C, to save electricity. Latest 2K projector will be installed and current sound system will be upgraded. The theatre will also have a parking capacity of 60 cars. Online ticket reservation facility will also be introduced. Meanwhile, <strong>Dhanya-Remya theatre will be upgraded to multiplex.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Obviously, there will be a hike in ticket price<\/strong>. It seems that public doesn\u2019t mind paying more if they get better facilities and service from the theatres. The theatres first need to obtain permission from the city corporation to go ahead with the renovation works.
