Kunchako Boban<\/strong> and Kavya Madhavan<\/strong> are gearing for one of the best roles in their career with the film ‘Kadha Veedu’<\/strong>. The movie is directed by Sohanlal<\/strong> who made an impressive debut with the film ‘Orkkuka Vallapozhum<\/a><\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

The story of Kadhaveedu is taken from the Malayalam fiction writers Vaikom Muhammad Basheer<\/strong>, Madhavikutty<\/strong> and M.T. Vasudevan Nair<\/strong> and the script is conceived by M.T. Vasudevan Nair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The movie also has the Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta. Kadha Veedu is the first Malayalam film of Rituparna and she plays the character of a housewife who dies but lives on in the memory of her husband and her lover. Director Priyadarshan<\/strong> had recommended Rituparna Sengupta for Kadha Veedu after working together in Bumm Bumm Bole. She is the leading actress in Bengali cinema for the last decade.<\/p>\n

‘Katha Veedu’ will also feature Lal, Biju Menon, Manoj K Jayan, Mamukoya, Mydhili and Sarayu in other important roles.<\/p>\n

The first schedule of the Kadha Veedu was completed in Kovalam and the location has been shifted to Thodupuzha. It was the first time Kunchako Boban and Rituparna Sengupta are visiting Kovalam. And for director Sohanlal Trivandrum is his hometown.<\/p>\n
