The story revolves around a few unrelated characters who get connected eventually through a series of events. The film written by Murali Gopi<\/strong> son of Bharath Gopi<\/strong> is considered a perfect ‘Black Humor’ film and a path breaker for its innovative craft. Ee Adutha Kaalathu is directed by Arun Kumar Aravind<\/strong>who hails from Trivandrum and has also worked as editor for Priyadarshan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The movie was screened at the ‘Malayalam Cinema Today’ category of the 17th International Film Festival of Kerala, where it won the NETPAC Award for Best Malayalam Film<\/strong>. It has also won many other awards such as P. Bhaskaran Foundation Awards<\/strong>, Sathyan Award<\/strong>, Asianet Film Awards<\/strong>, Vanitha Film Awards<\/strong> etc. Surprisingly the movie failed to win any awards at the Kerala State Film Awards 2013<\/strong>. Why the film didn\u2019t win any State Awards became a hot topic for discussion in channels and social media.<\/p>\n
