World’s favorite fast food chain McDonald’s s will open its first outlet in Kerala in Kochi on March 10<\/strong>. The outlet would come up at Lulu Mall, Edappally. McDonald’s have also planned to open its second outlet at MG Road, Kochi, soon.<\/p>\n

According to a senior company official, it also planned to open restaurants in major cities of Kerala such Trivandrum and Calicut “Our next targets are Trivandrum and Kozhikode,” she said.<\/p>\n

McDonald’s outlet at the Lulu Mall, Ernakulam<\/strong> will have a total area of 3,000SF with a seating capacity of around 70 people. The outlet also plans to launch home delivery service soon.<\/p>\n

The master franchisee for south and west India operations of McDonald’s, Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited, will be responsible for Kerala operations. “We have a large number of enquiries from NRKs about the opening of our restaurants in Kerala,” she added.
\nThe work on the MG Road outlet is fast progressing and it would be opened by March end or April first week. The outlets will have special dishes including fishes and will supply its entire range of items including vegetarian.<\/p>\n

The company will recruit local youngsters to work at the outlets.\u00a0“We will equip them with rigorous training programmes on every aspect of the restaurant’s working,” she said.<\/p>\n
