The multiple pipe-burst on Monday evening on the arterial pipeline bringing water from Aruvikkara to the city left many areas in the heart of the capital city dry.<\/p>\n

Medical college<\/a> was the worst hit area. Patients are facing a hard time as there is no supply of drinking water. Operations at the hospital have been stopped. District Collector has ordered tanker lorries to supply drinking water at the Medical College. However many tanker Lorries are reluctant to supply drinking water.<\/p>\n

Kerala Water Authority (KWA)<\/a> earlier said that it would require at least 12 and 20 hours or even more for the repair work to be completed. The work had already begun.<\/p>\n
