Anchor turned actor Ranjini Haridas will play the female lead in the forthcoming movie ‘Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

The movie is centered upon the life of Mathew a taxi driver who hates women. The film is written and directed by Syam-Praveen. Praveen who made his presence in Nee Ko Nja Cha will play the role of Mathew.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the first time, a movie is being taken for men but we won\u2019t say it is against women” says director Shyam.<\/p>\n

For Ranjini Haridas ‘Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla’<\/strong> is her second entry on big screen after her debut film ‘Entry<\/a>‘. ‘Entry’ was not able to create any stir in the box office. She played a cop in the film. Ranjini’s another upcoming project is the “What the F (WTF)” directed by Rupesh Paul<\/p>\n

\u201cThis movie talks about a few men who were tricked by girls. But it doesn\u2019t show women in a bad light. Not all men are bad, and so with women. I never thought I would get a second movie offer after Entry, and this is exciting\u201d Ranjini Haridas said.<\/p>\n

Other actors include Girish Parameshwar and Maria George. Famous Malayalam Band ‘ Thakara’ will score 2 songs for the film. The movie is produced by Vishnu Vijayan and the Pooja of the Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla was recently held.<\/p>\n
