The app sifts the data concerning the movie from various sources like news forums, Facebook, Twitter feeds, blogs, videos and other sites. The data is put together and analysed to offer a logical result. The company behind \u2018Movie Tarot\u2019<\/strong> is an incubatee at Start-up Village Kochi<\/a> called \u2018RIAFY<\/strong>\u2019, founded by six engineering students.<\/p>\n

The app has a size of 819KB and takes only a couple of seconds to download. It boasts of an intuitive and user friendly interface. Coming to predictions, Movie Tarot gives a tarot card to every upcoming movie which will indicate how the movie fares at the box office, whether it is going to be a box office hit, average or a flop. It will also predict the movie\u2019s opening collections.<\/p>\n

The app also has a novel feature called \u2018Happiness Quotient<\/strong>\u2019 indicating percentage of viewers who are truly happy with the film. Needless to say, higher the Happiness Quotient, better it is to place a bet on it and watch it firsthand.\u00a0 Movie Tarot also chooses a \u2018Sleeper\u2019 a term used for movies which run successfully for a long period even though they failed to get a good opening.<\/p>\n

How Movie Tarot works?<\/h3>\n

The app uses RIAFY\u2019s relational intelligence platform and the data is analyzed using \u2018Tarot Engine\u2019. Predictions are backed by online metrics.
