Babu Mohanan<\/strong> is a well known entrepreneur, mentor, investment advisor and an active angel investor in the startup community. His mission is to employ his vast experience and expertise as mentor in synergy with several other industry stalwarts to create a favourable ecosystem in Kerala for the growth of startups and SME’s.<\/em><\/p>\n

In50hrs has announced their plan to have their first edition of meeting in Trivandrum<\/a> – most probably in Technopark – from May 3rd to May 5th.<\/p>\n

This also announces the arrival of startup ecosystems in Kerala due to the culmination of efforts of \u00a0lot of people and groups in Kerala in the last few years. We have been watching the growth of startup accelerators in major cities like Bangalore, Chennai , Delhi etc, but \u00a0somehow these groups were a little reluctant to enter Kerala. \u00a0So it is important that they get all support from entrepreneur community here, which will encourage other similar groups to start their activity here.<\/p>\n

In50hrs<\/a>, is a idea to prototype event conducted by\u00a0The Startup Centre<\/a>, which curates and pushes your startup idea to accelerate. If you want to be a technology entrepreneur, this is a perfect event to start working with your idea.<\/p>\n

This event happens for three days where you will receive guidance from the mentors which helps you to bring your product live at the end of the event. You can either be an idea man(has an idea, but doesn\u2019t code) or a hacker(who can code, but doesn\u2019t have any idea).<\/p>\n

The event will start with an introduction from all participants and mentors. Participants will have to tell the crowd what their idea is to others, so that it will be much helpful for others to team up with them. For example, some people in this event come with ideas but don\u2019t know how to code, while some come here with coding skills but don\u2019t have any startup idea. One can convince the other to join as a team where they can build a product for the next two days.<\/p>\n

  • Product design thinking.<\/li>\n
  • Minimum viable product.<\/li>\n
  • Integration with Social API’s such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.<\/li>\n
  • Visual design skills.<\/li>\n
  • Product development \/ Engineering skills, or know-how for Web, iOS, Android, HTML5.<\/li>\n
  • Know-how of twitter bootstrap, other rapid prototyping frameworks.<\/li>\n
  • Domain knowledge, especially in online education, apps for the mobile and more.<\/li>\n
  • Any other skills that are critical for product development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Over the past few events in other cities, In50hrs \u00a0has seen hundreds of people participate in the event, hundreds of odd prototypes being built and \u00a0seen the emergence of a lot of startups \u00a0\u2013 not so surprisingly, quite a few of them being student startups.\u00a0These types of events also seeks to seed some depth in the kind of ideas that are coming out of India, so we will emerge as a major product development nation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
