Lijo Jose Pellissery has created a musical masterpiece by narrating the simple &#8216;underdog to winner&#8217; story in a completely innovative and surrealistic mode.<\/p>\n<p>The narrative, the wacky characterisations, the incredibly authentic setting with a lot of surreal elements which gets communicated to the layman perfectly, the dialogues, the never-before-seen or heard humour, the visual treatment, the editing pattern, the casting, the music, lyrics, choreography, art direction, costumes, everything is just perfect. Stunning performances from Indrajith, <a title=\"Fahad Fazil in Love with Andrea Jeremiah??\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/fahad-fazil-in-love-with-andrea-jeremiah\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fahad Fazil<\/a>, Joy Mathew, Kalabhavan Mani, Sunil Sukhada, Nandu, Sudheer Karamana, Swati, Rachana, Chemban Vinod Jose and Kolappulli Leela.<\/p>\n<p>Others like Anil Murali, Sandra Thomas, Shashi Kalinga and almost all other characters from Makarand Deshpande to the thengukettakkaran had an identity of his\/her own. Killer visuals by Abinandhan Ramanujam, richly detailed art direction by Mohammed Bawa, fab costumes by Siji Thomas Nobel, perfect editing by Manoj, mindblowing screenplay and dialogue by PS Rafeeque and last but not the least, an eclectic, trippy soundtrack by Prashant Pillai.<\/p>\n<p>His first two films were enough sign that he&#8217;s a filmmaker to watch out for, and with Amen, Lijo has created his masterpiece. I dont know if he can better it later on. I was absolutely stunned by its stylistic innovations. Hats off to Lijo and his entire crew. Hugs to Prasanth Pillai for his wonderful score. Fahad, Indran, Mani&#8230;.and all other actors in the film are simply outstanding.
