Residents who leave their house locked are always told by the association office-bearers to inform them.<\/p>\n City residents who leave for summer vacations should inform the police. They should give their residential address, phone number and other details to the nearest police station. People should not keep valuable ornaments and money in the house when they are away. They should also lock their cars and bikes before leaving the house. One can also give their phone numbers to residents\u2019 associations in their locality. Those houses in the areas where Janamaithri Suraksha scheme exists can inform the beat officer of the scheme- said the Police Commissioner in a statement.
