The fest which starts from April 11th promises to be a crowd puller. The PAACET\u201913 includes cultural fests, Technical events, workshops and concludes with a proshow.<\/p>\n
Technical events take place at the PAACET campus and they include variety of segments such as Paper presentation for the budding techno enthusiasts, Coding for wizards in programming. Those interested in Android programming can take part in Android development contests. For the shutter bugs, there is a contest called online photography where you can showcase your photography skills. There is also an event for those hard core gamers called LAN gaming. Wait, there are more to come – events like Traffic Planning, Bridge Design, Robo Expo, Photo editing, General Quiz, Tech Quiz, Matlab, Best Engineer etc . There is also a technical workshop arranged at PAACET campus about iPhone and Redhat.<\/p>\n
When it comes to cultural events, PAACET’13 has a range of exciting and entertaining events in store. There will be a street dance competition for the freestyle solo performers and the winner stands to win Rs 2000\/-. Another exciting event is the fashion show for those who have got the style, glamour and attitude. The winner gets a whopping Rs 50,000\/- followed by Rs 35,000\/- and Rs15,000 for the runner-ups. If you have got the gift of the gab, you can try your hand at the Radio Jockey contest and take home the first prize of Rs,4000\/-. For those into film making there is a special Short Film contest. The contestants should present socially relevant and entertaining short films. The winner will be awarded Rs 10,000\/- as First prize. There are other fun filled contests like Face painting, Mime, Choreo Video, Treasure Hunt, Voice of Paacet, street play, Adzap, Personality Contest, Mock press and many more.<\/p>\n
The PAACET Fest 2013 concludes with a bang. On April 13 none other than Farhan Akthar will be performing live on the grand finale at Nishagandhi open air auditorium.<\/p>\n
