Both the State government and the DMRC reached an agreement on the consultancy fees. The fee was finally fixed at 3.25% of the total outlay of the projects.<\/p>\n<p>Kozhikode Monorail project will be executed first said Works Minister V K Ibrahim Kunju after the meet. The project cost is estimated at Rs 1,991 crore and it is scheduled to be completed by September 2015. The 14.2 Km Medical College-Meenchantha corridor will come under the first phase of the project while 10 Km Meenchantha to Ramanattukara will form the second phase.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"http:\/\/entecity.com\">Trivandrum<\/a> will have to wait. The monorail director board meeting observed that basic infrastructure facilities will have to be improved before executing the project in the Trivandrum. The first priority among this will be a 4-lane track between Kazhakoottam and Thampanoor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A four-lane track between Kazhakoottam and Thampanoor is the first priority in Thiruvananthapuram. The execution of the project can take place only after the completion of this proposal,&#8221; chief minister Oommen Chandy said. He also said that a flyover proposal in Trivandrum was also under consideration.<\/p>\n<p>DMRC Principal Advisor E Sreedharan also attended the meeting.
