The original CDs and DVDs will contain censor certificate, warning, affidavit, address of the copyright holder, hologram of the releasing company, emblem, MRP and packing date. Public are asked to check these while buying CDs and DVDs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Beware CD buyers, squad after you\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/beware-cd-buyers-squad-after-you\/\" target=\"_blank\">Beware CD buyers, squad after you<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the statement issued by APC &#8221; Sale, possession, or renting out of CDs and DVDs without the copyright is punishable and bills with title name should be given to the customers while selling DVDs and CDs&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Anti-Piracy Cell also informed that watching movies on the Internet should be through e-commerce sites only. Earlier the APC has issued a warning against sharing, uploading, and downloading Malayalam films on bogus websites, torrents, and YouTube. \u00a0Sharing films without the consent of the producer or copyright owner is a legal offence punishable with imprisonment up to three years and fine up to Rs.5,00,000.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Watch Malayalam Movies Online Legally\" href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/watch-malayalam-movies-online-legally\/\" target=\"_blank\">Read How You Can Watch Malayalam Movies Online Legally<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a press note issued by the Superintendent of Police, APC said cable TV operators should exhibit their licence and maintain a programme register. APC warned them against broadcasting films without copyright licence.
