It is mulling investment close to Rs 40 billion for developing a facility in Gujarat, its first plant outside Haryana. Maruti Suzuki has been witnessing labour unrest at Manesar since June 2011 with workers often going on strikes. On July 21, an Human Resource official was killed and many employees were injured.<\/p>\n<p>The firm announced a lockout after the violence and restarted operations on Aug 21.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Osamu Suzuki, Chairman of the Suzuki Motor Corporation Suzuki, said that the firm had no plans of rollbak its operations from India or closing its plant in Manesar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Auto major Maruti Suzuki is expected to commence production in the state during 2015.
