Australian Airline Company Jet Star to Start Operation in Trivandrum International Airport!

This means, Trivandrum will be well connected to South Asia Pacific region and Australia.

Australia’s famous low-cost carrier company Jet Star will soon start its operations from Trivandrum International Airport. The Airline has approached government of India in this regard.

This means Trivandrum will be well connected to South Asia Pacific region and Australia. Jet star is planning to start service from Trivandrum to Australia with Singapore as the transit point. Right now only airlines that operate to Singapore from Trivandrum are Singapore Airlines and Silk Air!

Jet Star team will arrive at Trivandrum International Airport to oversee the airport and to meet the local travel agencies. With Jet Star, the number of foreign airlines operating out of Trivandrum will be 19.

Jet Star is a low-cost airline operating from Australia. They have flights to Asia Pacific region and the USA. The Airline uses Airbus’s A320, A321 and A330 air crafts for services.

Meanwhile, Air Asia, Malaysia’s low-cost carrier has shown interest to start services from Trivandrum. Air Asia used to have flight service from Trivandrum but they stopped their service here a few years ago.

More airlines have come forward to operate in Trivandrum-Gulf sector as it is the most profitable sector for any airline. Meanwhile, largest domestic Airline Indigo has started non-stop services from Trivandrum to Delhi. Under this service, one can reach Delhi in 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Recently, Trivandrum airport has seen a tremendous increase in the number of passengers. Trivandrum Airport is in the 5th place in the list of airports that have more than 5 million passengers. The airport is also ranked No:1 in terms of Quality of Service offered to passengers.
